We’ve had to put Sunday family dinner on hold the last few weeks for a number of reasons and the most exciting one is the arrival of the newest addition to our family, grandson number two 👏
The first thought I had when I was told another grandchild was on the way was, will I be able to love another grandchild as much as my first? Of course the answer was “absolutely yes”.
From the second I laid eyes on my new baby grandson, I was totally besotted and overwhelmed by the feelings I had for this little person who had only just entered the world.
I suppose I am biased, but he is perfect in every way and the most beautiful baby ever, aside from his big brother, of course 🙂
Saying I feel blessed may be cliche, but I truly feel that I am. I have a wonderful, loving family that I am very proud of and two gorgeous grandsons for which I am so grateful. So, what more could I ask for? Well actually, I’d definitely like more grandchildren and, to live long enough to watch them grow up, would also be great!
In the words of Desmond Tutu:
“You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.”
So take care of the gift you have been given!
