Cacao Hazelnut Bliss Balls

Just when you thought I’m done sharing flavour combinations for bliss balls…SURPRISE… I have a new one for you – Cacao & Hazelnuts – and they are heavenly!Pile of Cacoa Hazelnut Bliss BallsThese Cacao Hazelnut Bliss Balls are so delicious that you’ll not want to share them but, I must warn you, they are a little bit naughty because they have Nutella hazelnut spread in them.

I love the chocolate nuttiness of these delicious little balls – they truly do make life more blissful, I promise!Choc Hazelnut Bliss BallsWhat you need

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 8 pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut spread
  • 1 tablespoon tahnini
  • ½ cup desiccated coconut
  • ¼ cup extra hazelnuts – ground, for rolling the balls in

What to do

Place all the ingredients, except for the extra hazelnuts, into a food processor and process until well combined. If the mixture is too dry, add 2 tablespoons of water and mix through.

Take some of the mixture and roll into a ball. You can make them whatever size you like. Repeat with remaining mixture.

Roll the Cacao Hazelnut Bliss Balls in the extra ground hazelnuts, then store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze.
